Now I have tried all I can find getting rdesktop 1.7 working with my Win 7 RC... (Ultimate Ed)

I use a wlan router and have done the following steps:
1. set a static ip to your pc in your LAN

2. Disable firewall on pc or allow remote desktop port 3389
- Have also tested if the port is open, and it is.

3. Set password to your aco**** on your pc and make it member of Administrator - Tried with my original administrator account and also created a new one.

4. Enabled remote desktop on my computer - And tried different allowed users like "everyone" but also the administrator accounts.

5. Installed rdesktop 1.7 on my n900 and put in my computers IP (that I find in my router settings browser under the right connection) Username and password. Domain left blank.

6. When I then press ok, the n900 shows "Rdesktop cannot work properly as there is some problem with the connection network"

I have tried with both my Wlan and with 3G, same result.

When I ping as root with Wlan, I get the right response, with 3g i just get the first sentence with some byte data.

I am new with these kind of things but I would like to learn!
p.s. sorry if my english is a little off...
