N800 acts as a card reader. I guess I was talking more about digital camera pics, etc. I try to keep stuff I use a lot on the internal card, as I may swap out the external card for others. I'd also use internal for virtual memory, and of course, there's a way to boot from MMC, which works best from the internal card, although it should work from both.

All of this is because it's easier to swap out the external card.
