I will test an acrylic/plexiglas design (polycarbonate is impossible on the laser, creates highly toxic fumes), but not until I can afford a filter for the fumes. My neighbors complain about the smell of cutting acrylic, and so I'm not able to cut it in quantity. I will be the first to tell you when I get a filter.
