I find that hard to believe, there are few uses for Java these days. I would expect any device tests to be plain javascript. That said, why would it even need to know what device you are using anyway?
Is this BEFORE you have logged in that it fails? If so I might be able to grab my laptop and have a look at what code is on the page, but I do not have a login to test fully.
