Why should we have widgets on the "swipe to unlock" screen?

We have already
- widgets on the normal desktop and
- a program to make a hardcopy of the normal desktop and
- a program to assign an action to the PowerOn-Button

So why shouldn't we merge all these possibilities?
In this way?!:
1.) create a (1of 4) desktop with all the informations/widgets you need
2.) assign the hardcopy to the PowerOn-button
3.) pressing this button (in the locked mode) will create a hardcopy of the normal desktop as a jpg/bmp/png file with the name of the "swipe to unlock" screen in the right folder
4.) maemo will automatically show the new bitmap as the background
containing all static informations created only a second before

What's to do?
Maybe one great programmer can create a service/small program to initialise the hardcopy (of the not visible desktop) after pressing the power button and before maemo shows the "swipe to unlock" screen ...

Am I totally wrong ???
