The author wrote, that for executing the program he reflashed his device. But maybe you can access you device via ssh and copy the program to it, execute it and be happy. I've never done that myself. So I would recommend reading that other thread carefully and then judge own your own how brave you are yourself. And also if you Linux knowledge etc is sufficient or not.
