Do you take regular backups? If so, in the documents.zip file, there is a hidden directory (/Root/home/user/.gpe) that contains your calendar file. you can just copy it back to your /home/user/.gpe directory on the N800 and all should work.

The other option would be to export your google calendar to ical format and import, but if you go that route, you'll have to manually edit the .ics file to get rid of any WKST attributes. See http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/gpe/54/5423.html for details on that.
