I think this is likely to be a lawyer thing.

Someone is worried that as an ex employee your comments may be read as facts supported by Nokia. As stupid as it sounds. And unlike current employees they cannot have a NDA to prevent you saying anything they would rather you did not.

So in lawyer terms the safest option is to remove the risky element.

Also

Nokia really doesn't want the risk of ex employees disagreeing with their own engineers on there own site. At some point in the near future Nokia is likly to make a claim as to the cause etc of this issue.

You may disagree. As an ex Nokia employee you would have credit. They do not want that in there playground.

Its not right but it is usual for any big company.
