So, first off I bought this really cool Solar USB charger
http://www.scosche.com/products/sfID...productID/1905
And of course, I get it and plug it in and it doesn't work. I tried it out on a few other devices and of course it charges them wiht no problem. But using the cable I got with my N900, it doesn't charge
Now, I've read a few places on here about people taking apart a USB car charger and soldering pins together and then it will make it charge. I really think it'll be a bad idea for me to pry apart this solar charger. So I'm wondering, do I have any other alternatives? Should I try and hack the USB cable? Go buy a different cable and cut that one open?
My plan is to have the charger hanging off a pack while I'm biking or what-ever so the N900 can keep charging no matter where I'm at, etc. I think it'll be very cool if I can get it working
Thanks
