Just peel of the film and use it like you normally would, you get the tissues and wipes with the protector so clean it.

The screen is not that prone to scratches unless you got lots of keys and coins in your pocket...

Then open you browser in the phone, go to store.ovi.com and install Angry Birds, will keep you busy for a while

Activate the maemo repository in the download catalogs in the phone.
Lots of apps there made by this excellent community.

Try installing Tversity on your computer, voila now you can stream all you music and tv series and films over your Wlan without any further setting needed in the phone (except for wlan password and a wireless router at home)

You will find the media server icon in the bottom left corner in the mediaplayer of the phone.

Works nice when you want to be in the bedroom and watch a movie, or you could always connect it to you bedroom tv with the cable that was included in the box and use it as a wireless mediacenter for you tv.

After that install Droid fonts to make the text look nice your new phone.

After that find a nice new theme and maybe install firefox and weave addon to sync all your firefox bookmarks on the computer(including passwords) so you have em on you phone, pretty neat.
