True dat. For better and for worse.

50% of Americans get divorced from their first spouse. Of those 50% that remarry, 95% of them get divorced again. There's plenty of speculation why this is, but as a divorced American I tend to go with this one:

The concept of the "American Dream" creates a false sense that someone can change their stars faster than is actually possible. The future becomes more important than the present. Till you die.

Who knows, maybe we're just spoiled brats with too many choices. Regardless, the point is, that making good decisions is unfortunately sometimes learned from making bad ones. Or, more obviously, making good decisions gets harder as the number of choices increase.

$600, on average, is piss-in-the-ocean in the grand scheme of bad decisions. If you want to blame Nokia, go ahead, but when a top cheese says this is step 4 of 5, that should have been in the title of every n900 review. Blame the bloggers if you must blame someone, the rest of us mostly knew what we were getting. But generally, take appropriate responsibility for your bad decisions and move on. Please.

Unlike my marriage, I thought the n900 was going to be a bad decision. I was wrong. Again. I should look at that.
