Actually... if you really think about it. They don't really market in the US nor Japan; yet they've still somehow grown pretty large.

To me, that's indicative that the US is a market that they can afford to not pay that much attention to previously, but that will probably change once they have a mass market device that fits our needs in the US. I think it'll change, but not now and not overnight.

We're (the US market) different than most other places due to the fractured frequencies we support and our needs in a phone.

And it's for those same reasons I haven't purchased a N900 yet. It's not an exact fit to what I'd consider something I'd use for my phone quite yet. As a tablet though, I don't mind hacking it to pieces. I do that with my N810.

The complaints; I don't even mind them any longer. I know know that there is a lot of energy and constructive input that could come from it... if that was what you wanted to do. Otherwise, venting just for venting sakes... why not? It's a public forum. But after a while, wouldn't you want your grievances to have some merit?

Contribute. It might end up fixed in the next firmware release(s).
