I'm sending it on monday - they even gave me a prepaid envelope when i bought it ( if i need to send it back)...... I GOT IT, TESTED, DONT LIKE IT, SENDING IT BACK... I didnt lose a penny out of my pocket

Its a forum on here and I put up this topic so that if someone wants to get the phone, he can know THAT NOT EVERYONE IS HAPPY WITH THIS AND ALSO KNOW THE PROBLEMS WITH IT....

U guys complain more than u use the device... why hide the defects? U lot have got an excuse now? TO READ REVIEWS BEFORE BUYING.. JUST ACCEPT THE BLOODY FACT THAT THIS PHONE HAS GOT DEFECTS... reading reviews wont cover up the defects (as U want to do)....

Probably u cant return the phone, thats y u say all this just to please urselves because u have to live with it now..

BTW this was aimed towards some low-minded idiots on here......
I've just registered to post a thread elsewhere, but got caught up reading this thread (my mistake, thats ten minutes of my life that I wont be getting back !).

Underworld, I'm not going to get caught up in agreeing or disagreeing, think thats already been more than covered.
Just wanted to say that you are correct, here in the UK we do have certain rights - the ones you are talking about were brought in to protect consumers in their own home against bullyboy tactics on the part of salespeople.

They were not brought in for people to test purchases at home on a whim, and then return.

Even big companies have a right to make a profit and employ people etc etc.
Companies also have the right to expect us the consumer to take responsibility and exercise some common sense when deciding on purchases, contracts etc.

If you are happy with the outcome and returning your N900, and ultimately moving on, why not do precisely that, and allow us to enjoy our chosen device, on a site devoted to using and devoloping it.

Not being rude, just my 2 cents worth.
