How to signal that?
In the mean time is there a "mirror" to retrieve the latest firmware for the n900?
Bugzilla would be the location for reporting any issues. I'm not aware of any mirrors for most of the firmware (the UK firmware can be downloaded via http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo_UK_variant_firmware, but that's externally hosted so there's somewhat of a risk using it).
