I trully hate the Fedora base, I never liked the way Red Hat (or any alike distro) structures there distribution.

Also I think the internal format of .deb is far easier to work with then RPM's.

And yes I'm a long time Debian + *BSD user and I've grown attached to there way of doing things. But this was also the reason why I loved Maemo that much.
As it is said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Let's say I'm in the other shore of the river.
In the end, it is just what you have grown accustomed with because it is what you know better.
