Repost as people are asking the same questions again:

So far the update seems to be out in alot of places.
For anyone who has problems with not enough space/room for the update you can either
* Read this whole thread - skim it, as there are some good ideas.
* Look at the wiki pages - rootfs page
* Try some out there methods at cleaning up room (
http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...ghlight=rootfs
)
Please bear in mind some of the methods require root access, and there is a warning in place as you can do some damage, brick your device, and even turn it into a chicken if you are not careful! (That last bit may not be entirely true...)
Some root commands that can help, once you have root (Will not explain here how to get it.)
* df -h (To find out how much space you have on rootfs)
* apt-get clean
* apt-get autoremove
Removing applications will help....
Disabling testing and development catalogues/repositories.
And don't forget to reboot - always helps!
People seem to have a consensus of needing around 43mb+ - 50mb should be safe
