after installation click on the desktop-bar and you'll see the applet with on screen-icon and five brightness-buttons. if you click on the screen-icon you get a checkbox which says "keep display on". if you check this the screen doesn't lock itself.
the applet is cool because you can set the brightness too. (imo the sensor always dims the screen too much so that it's sometimes hard to read...)
