I can live with slow speed. Thats not the issue. Since you mentioned Debian. I have installed Debian.

I have no clue how to install software on Debian.. I tried to install iplayer on Debian. Did not work. Then tried to update the flash on the browser again did not work.

Can you show me how to install a software on Debian. Once I understand how to install then surely I can dig up many software's and install them without any help. To get to that stage I need help in the process on installing on Debian.
