I believe you must never judge the quality of such a device by trouble reports you read in forums like this one. People who dont have problems dont post here, you know

There is of course a chance that you will get either a defective device (touch screen issues etc.) or that you'll experience software problems. But: There is not a single similiar device on this planet (no matter if its a smartphone, normal mobile, game device,...) that does not suffer from glitches. Companies have to keep costs down and have to find a balance between perfect quality and reasonable price. That's life.
