Yeah, I think maybe 'dummy_iap' gets installed by Maemo-PC-Connectivity. I also have something there called 'devel_adhoc' that I think is a result of getting this to work..

Interestingly, once everything is working on mine, 'dummy_iap' is the internet connection that gets automatically chosen by the connection switcher, not 'Dummy Network'.. however I can't get any of it to work unless I also follow the steps to create 'Dummy Network', so it must be needed somehow. That part is a bit of a mystery to me..

I'm not sure what to say about your issues with connection switcher. I've never had any trouble with it whatsoever, and I really don't know enough about it to suggest what you can do to fix it.. sorry
