If all discussion of future versions of the OS (Meego) and the devices it runs on takes place elsewhere, how long will "here" be here? Is it logical to assume a long lifespan for maemo.org when "maemo" is a thing of the past that only runs on a few discontinued Nokia devices? I'm asking questions because I don't know the answers. But I hope some thought will be given to the best strategy for maintaining community support for legacy devices and their OS versions. It seems to me that their might be some advantages in having Meego (and its community and forums) inherit some responsibilities toward its parent OSs.
