I took all that, applied a little
common sense
and decided I'll take their word for what the truth is over blind speculation by chronically depressed naysayers until I see some real evidence otherwise. So far, I don't. My N900 works great, is about to get it's 4th OTA update in 3 months, Maemo lives on bigger and better as MeeGo and I'm all smiles.
