HI guys I just updated from the UK 1.1 to Global 1.1.1 and all went well except my backup program can't see my backup, it's definitely in the right place as when I take new backups they are put there but since I scp'd the file back on using the root account I think that may have changed the file permissions. I have tried to change them back to 777 using chmod but it won't work (acts like it works fine but then doesn't work) It could also be because I have gone from uk firmware to global firmware??? I'm not sure has anybody had this problem or does anybody know how toc hange file permissions to 777 in maemo because chmod seems to be bugged
