One thing I forgot to mention on my last post.

If you were to have the display screen hug the left side of the tablet and have the DPad to the right of it, that would work out great for us N800 users.

The DPad would have 8 directions with the center of it being dead space. That way you could place your thumb in the middle without any movement occurring which would feel more natural. Also, with the extra space all on one side, you wouldn't have to cover your thumb over the game screen.

The other buttons would then be mapped to the hardware keys.

The benefit to this is that one could press a direction and a hardware key both at the same time.

Only downside is that you would have to stop mce so that all of the hardware keys would be available for use.

Any thoughts on this, fms?
