I really didn't like the N95 at the time... too ubiquitous, bulky, and I thought I'd knacker the slide by playing around with it too much. And the battery life was awful. I waited patiently for the N82 to come out. I'd laugh at the N95 guys in the office charging by lunchtime while my N82 kept running. The N82 was essentially the N95 in candybar form but with a far superior Xenon flash - which is still better than any LED flash implementation I've seen so far. The flash did kill the battery though, but was invaluable taking photos in nightclubs, restaurants and bars etc.
