Update:
As prompted, last Friday I called the repair center to get an explanation as to why my phone was deemed out of warranty, and I am greeted by a voicemail. I called again on Saturday and today (Monday) and was greeted with the same voicemail.

I then called Nokia customer service and am told that I should try again on Tuesday because the service center was "probably" not open, despite the message on the answering machine stating they were open from 7am to 3pm my time (central). When asking to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold for approx 5 minutes then told that it was no longer in their scope and they would have a special team contact me within 48 hours. I demanded to speak to a supervisor because I refused to wait yet another 48 hours for results (Im beginning to hate that number actually.

I also sent an email to Nokia on Friday stating my issue and was prompted that I would recdeive a responce back within 48 hours, and I have not.

Update
After once again demanding to speak to a supervisor, I was connected to the special recovery team directly, who explained that the reason my phone was deemed out of warranty was because they couldn't verify information and that I should have filled out some form which I was never instructed to fill out.

They also explained that I should have never been trying to contact the repair center(?!?!) despite the fact that I was instructed to do so by the nokia website AND a customer service representative!

Anyways, I am still playing the waiting game, but they are at least looking at the phone now. It's experiences like this that make me want to ensure that I am providing outstanding customer service while I'm at work at T-Mobile.
