Distimo just published a comparison of app stores that they presented at the Mobile World Congress 2010 and ReadWriteWeb published an analysis of it. Unfortunately, it doesn't break out Maemo from Symbian so I assume the bulk of the Ovi stats are Symbian related. Still, it's worth looking at. I was surprised that the top two categories at the Ovi store were personalization and music versus games which is, not surprisingly, number one at Apple and, very surprisingly, also number one at Blackberry.
