Uh... what exactly were the linux smart phones in 2008 again? Gartner is funny - you can trust their numbers to within about 20% +/-, depending on who greased them the best in a given month.
So in the table we can map Symbian to Nokia/S60 phones, RIM to blackberries, iPhone to iPown, MSWin to HTC, Android to (in '09 anyway) the G1, and WebOS to the Palm Pre. What was Linux again? In '09 I guess that's about 5 weeks of the n900 (not bad, outsold android for the whole year)
but can you name any other "linux" phone?

This is a motley crew for sure, and about 80% of them are Android phones.
