Texrat, I am curious if you, or anyone else has gotten pictures from an "updated" device which illustrates the difference which may exist in the newer hardware. Mine is one of the first batch, and although I have had no issues at all, I do think about it every time I plug it in (and unplug it). Thanks -- Thor
