We just need a trusty person with a paypal account (or alternate payment account) to hold on to the donation. It would be a great idea. I am sure if all maemo user donate just ONE dollar, we will have a big incentive for these guys to get something going. Bdogg is making great progress but it seems like he is the only one will working on this and even he isn't as enthused about putting too much time and energy into this project. I remember following a couple of the guys at xda trying to get google map navigation to work on other devices other than the Droid. It took them about two days and 20 or so of the users/dev to test out different types of string to fool the app to let navigation work. I know this isn't the same as get a WHOLE os to work on another device but the energy level there are waaay high....
