What makes you think that application will work? There is more than gui toolkit to writing applications.
If it is so easy to get applications to work, why can't Nokia promise new version of OVI Maps? Maybe they know something you don't?
How about basic applications - phone, media player, etc.? Will N900 remain only Nokia phone in the last ten years with no per contact ring tone?
How will the device with 256MB handle both GTK and QT applications concurrently? It will certainly not improve general system performance.
