That's what I'm saying. The community is free to (and IMHO certainly will) bring MeeGo to the N900 as it's so much eaiser than Mer was. But that is not the point. The point is that MeeGo is not Maemo 6 (or 7), it is a SET of platform related technologies. There is no guarantee that Ovi maps 3 for Harmattan will run on another MeeGo device. That's why this 'official Nokia MeeGo on N900' battle is something that can only end in crying - either because Nokia doesn't do it, or because Nokia DOES do it and then people realize it's not what they wanted.
