Thank you for adding the log file, it makes it easier to understand the problem.
I might recommend you two things. I think that you have xterm installed with root access. But else you must install xterm and root access.

As root, you try running: "dpkg --configure -a" or "apt-get install -f"
I think that someone of two commands can help you.
There is some package without configure, and with it I might help.
