1. Can you point out a bugzilla entry for this one? I'm not sure what bug you refer to.

2. Faster in terms of UI responsiveness. Under heavy load, both OSes look about the same I've heard that spontaneous rebooting is less of an issue now.

3. Erg. Sort of. This info is more scattered than I like. Search around for "sources.list" in the forums and you'll find a few different takes on it.

3.2. Yes and maybe. Fanoush's site is the place to look.

4. It's possible to get around the root access part, after you have root access. If you use FUSE, you could mount a directory as the "root" of your local network (much like Entire Network in Windows XP).

5. Not as far as I'm aware. You can hit menu in window mode to get to your bookmarks, albeit indirectly. I don't believe anyone has done that to their opera.ini, so I can't say.
