for simple directions when im offline, i jusr grab a screen shot froom my desktoop pc of the map, save as a photo, and drop it on my n800...

works when i know where i will be .. i have not messed with mapper yet but will have to shortly... it really needs offline route calculation to take the place oof a true GPS.

as for mp3 player, i really bont use that to much, i use internet radio alot, but i can tell you i can sit with wifi on and the n800 idling or streaming for over 66 hours and still have lots of battery left, wifi is a battery sucker, i would say 10 hours is very realistic.
