I am not sure if you did get me wrong but I wasn't speaking of white backgrounds in widgets in general. I just wanted to mention that the maemo.org theme uses orange on black for example in normal text windows or in the address bar of the browser. That's something I do not like about the theme. And it has too much orange text with orange highlight or orange text on orange background... That's why I am still looking for a maemo.org theme that has the normal black text on white background and that uses the color orange a bit less aggressive. Will wait for the simple versions of D-Theme! Thanks!
