This is somewhat theoretical question:

Does this kind of tech increase the inertia/momentum of the battery?

WRT spinning a raw vs. cooked egg?

I mean, the energy has to come from somewhere... naturally this kind of system wouldn't convert kinetic energy very efficiently, so the effect would not be a large one.
