Two quick curious screen questions...

1) From the talk and reviews, I was expecting a beautiful color screen. It looks very grainy especially when there is a lot of white background. My old axim x50v looked a ton better, and my treo 700p actually fairs pretty well against it. From everything I read, I expected better.

2) Do the left and top bars need to take up valuable real estate on the screen? The smaller real estate combined with the above is not giving me the warm fuzzies on my new toy. One thing I hated about windows mobile devices with the top and bottom bars permanently taking up valuable visual real estate.

Over my Treo, I thought I'd have a better experience surfing the net while being able to stream audio and then ultimately make use of the nice screen and the usb host mode to use external drives to show technique vids, pdfs and such. Not sure if I'm going to get all that.
