Once edited, you can run as root to regenerate:

its a UI issue, by default new apps get appended at the end of main menu or a sub menu. I was also thinking of making a folder 'Installations' like in symbian to keep installed apps separate and then you can reshuffle them around. But its a lot of work for a simple menu. Either catorize or implementing folders on your own, you have to reconfigure after installing apps.

After thinking through it plus how palm OS implements one menu. I implemented it.
