Hi guys,
I'm not sure if this is how to go about making a request, but here goes. I would like to have an application that can record voice messages to be sent quickly to email. The idea is similar to what you see in the links below. Would it be possible and how difficult would it be?

I recommend email as the means of transportation, as I am the only one with a Nokia that I know, so being nokia specific would be bad. Receiving txt back via the interface would be pretty cool as well! That way you cam voice message the wife at work for brownie points and she could type back how much she loves you
App site.

Here are a few more apps with cool usability, I wonder what server this app connects to. Can do live voip chats if both parties are connected.

**Edit**
Being that the sound recorder application below is free and open source, its a nice starting point if someone daring enough would like to try it out

The source See http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p...aemo-recorder/ for the source package of the last released Diablo version, or https://garage.maemo.org/scm/?group_id=32 for the git repository (thanks lma).
**Edit2**
Maemo Recorder claims to be open source but I have yet to find it. Here is another app with voice recorder that is highly regarded, OS of course.
