Ah I see, unfortunately I'm in a similar situation to yourself, I can't play games in Linux easily!!!!!!!

But try dual booting at home with Linux, linux is not ALL command line and these days you can do everything via the pointy clicky way. Heres a video of the OS that I use at home (not my video but similar), you realise the limitations of Windows quite quickly and realise the crap they have been feeding people.

Since you are new to Linux I'd try it on a seperate non-critical PC first, you are bound to mess it up many times.
