with ioquake3, you need the original game. copy the pak files to:

/home/user/.q3a/baseq3/

you need to copy the 9 pak files. pak0.pak --> pak8.pak




why 2 versions??


ioquake3, like I said, you need the orignal game. so in other words its copyrighted.

openarena uses the free (open source) part and makes the rest themselves...
skins, maps....
