I decided to delete the paired PC from the N900, uninstall PC Suite from the PC, restart the N900 and the PC, reinstall PC Suite on the PC, reset the paired bluetooth device passkey, so pretty much got rid of everything and started fresh, and it worked. I was again able to sync to PC Suite over bluetooth, the N900 folders showed up again, the N900 contacts showed up again on PC Suite on the PC. If the same issue happens again, I'll try this same sequence again. This is to communicate with PC Suite on a paired PC. This was not the "Transfer and sync" function under the Settings button on the N900.
