Of course I meant horizontal. Scrolling from left to right, yes. Sorry.
Couldn't you anyways shorten the daynames, regardless when any update of some library comes out? Ending up with scrollbars horizontal and vertical makes the list less comfortable than possible.

Not impossible, but a bit non-standard imo.
Standards might change. In the very beginning of touchscreen devices it might have been a good idea putting such items in one long list, but that was more due to low resolution than to overall usability. I'm thinking about something like splitting every line into two half, each half behaving as a button. Scrolling up (down would work as it does now. But I see that it is way out of your concern implementing this. Will consider filing a brainstorm about that.

What do you mean by "detail" page? If you're talking about the tweakr profiles: That can't go any faster, because everytime you open that menu, the app gets a fresh list of tweakr profiles, which I think is important in case you edited them in the meantime while alarmed was open.
With detail page I mean the details of the cirrently edited entry itself. Not some submenu like tweakr-profile. When changing the type of entry this page changes it's buttons. You know what I mean?
