You can check system file integrity against their md5 sums in /var/lib/dpkg/info/*.md5sum. Unfortunately the command line tool debsums ( http://transit.iut2.upmf-grenoble.fr...html?1+debsums ).
is not packaged yet, /usr/bin/md5sum is there though.
