I don't see it "so much better". N900 performance is very similar to the performance seen on the movies.

The main problem with PSX emulation is getting the timings right. It's hard even on very powerful x86 machine with so much overpower.

You may also experience lagging and jittering when the game just started - dynarec needs to recompile game parts. But this is the case of every JIT like solution.

But yes - Dingo has the advantage of having MIPS onboard. ARM has half the registers available and controversial immediate value handling, which causes even 1 MIPS instruction to 4 ARM instructions translation.
