witter 0.3.1 is now available in extras-devel.

tywtyw2002, I've not figured out anything yet, but I have made 140 a 'soft' limit so it might mean you can just submit wiht something witter things is much longer but which twitter will be fine with.

If Witter isn't working for you, eg crashes/doesn't start, gives errors etc etc. Please run it from x-term using:
run-standalone.sh python2.5 /opt/witter/witter.py

This will generate diagnostic output. Without this I cannot help you.
