hello
as a user on an n900 for a some time, i found it as a great gadget. however as a phone - it is not so conenient.
in perticular, it is hard to answer calls or dial when i am driving:
1. the car moves and so does my finger so when i press the "answer" button - the phone "thinks" i'm trying to drag it and not press it.
2. as the touch screen is flat, i can't feel the virtual buttons, so i sometimes press the wrong button.
3. dialing is even worse, as i have to look for a person in the adressbook (i do not have shortcuts for everyone).
so i decided to get a small bluetooth keyboard which will stay permanently in my car and assign it's keys to do somthing on keypress.
i need :
1. connect the keyboard (already works)
2. assign special keys to run a command - i have problems with that: it reconises the keypresses as regular kbd keypress. i want it not to go as a keypress, but to be intercepted with a different app (is there somthing like irexec for kbd)
3. write the right commands to search the adressbook, answer calls, launch apps etc ...
thanks,
erez.
