i have noticed throughout the updates that the emulator will slow down after a minute or two for about 5 secs and will go back to normal speed. was there something in the previous updates that included player 2 that made this happen or is there something that needs to be optimized.

btw i also wanted to ask why does the pico drive run 60fps smoothly and snes works best at 30? the 60fps pico drive reminds me of the 120hz tv monitors and makes it feel like new on the emulator. i love it. i was wondering if there was any plans for drnoksnes to do the same because mario kart at 60fps would look jaw dropping even for snes =).
