I flashed mine using a Linux LiveCD (Linux Mint). Then when you are done just restart the computer and you are back to only the single OS.
I downloaded the 2 images in win 7 64 and copied them to the Linux desktop and used them from there.
The tip I read about renaming them to make it easier to type into the terminal was a good idea.
